The Chevrolet Express 3500 Work Van last had a manufacturer update on 03/26/2007. Chevrolet’s full-size work van enters 2007 with only minor revisions and is available in several trims: 1500 RWD and AWD, 2500 regular and Extended, and 3500 Regular and Extended. Engine choices on the different Express models include a 4.3L V8, a 285-hp 4.8 V8, a 295-hp 5.3 V8 (gas and flex fuel available), a 300-hp 6.0V8, and a 6.6L Turbo Diesel V8.

Changes for this year in the 2007 Express Work include a new dual-note horn tone and a few new stand alone options. Rounding off the list of changes are two new exterior colours, Gray stone and Sport Red. Available options on the Express include rear air conditioning, power convenience features, power seats, deep-tinted glass, a heavy-duty battery, and a stereo system with a CD player.

Seating layouts in the 2007 Express Work provide space for eight, 12 or 15 occupants. The latter two configurations also include an electronic stability system with rollover mitigation, a feature General Motors added in recent years in response to criticism about rollover risk. Full-size Express passenger vans can carry eight, 12 or 15 occupants, while Express cargo vans seat only two people up front. Regular-length passenger models and cargo vans can be equipped with a 60/40-split left-side entry/load door. Side access doors with remote releases are limited to work-oriented Express Access models.
